  1. What do you all like to eat before a fight? I'm currently a night before, so what I eat tonight doesn't matter too much, but I do tend to avoid spicy dishes a good 24 hours before a fight. I find Thai omelet over rice is a great pre-fight dish: easy to digest, carbs, protein, fat and salt. I eat sticky rice sometimes because of the belief in its protective qualities, but it feels like a brick in my belly, so not so much one to recommend to others. Back in the US I knew of a gym that recommended carb-loading the night before a fight, which I don't know if that stemmed from having cut weight and avoided carbs for a few days or what. Some folks I know get nervous and don't eat anything but fruit a few hours before. What do you all think/do/recommend? Anyone... Bueller?
  2. I'd like to know if anyone has had struggles with this issue ? I hate it, I do it twice a week and it's draining. I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle but mentally I am not strong when it comes to this issue. I usually binge after 3-4 days of hard training. The foods would include sandwiches, sugary foods, some chocolate and chips. The day after I would feel so drained, bloated, tired and heavy i'd probably do a fast. If you have experienced this I would love to hear your feedback on what helped you.
