I should probably warn Jerry that he might need to clear his schedule for a while. Once you start browsing these sites, it's hard to stop. You get lost in the sea of beautiful women, and before you know it, hours have passed, and you're still going strong. But hey, it's a good way to spend your time, in my opinion.

Muay Thai, if you have a well-versed coach, can be pretty easy to pick up and you can train it for heath and well-being, or even for passion without ever fighting. The basics can be learned quite quickly.

I say go for it! I'll be turning 45 this Christmas, and am just loving the sport! It doesn't bother me that most of the others at my gym are young enough to be my kids. We all have muay thai in common, and that is just perfect.

I started last year, at 42. You don't have to fight or even spar if you don't want to. Find a gym with a good culture of learning, safety, and not tolerating unsafe behaviour.
