  1. I emailed ThaiSmai Asking to purchase this book and they emailed straight away and can ship to Australia! YES!
  2. Oh man, I really hope it becomes available to purchase online, such an incredible book that would complete my life lol thanks for uploading
  3. Hey all, I thought I would share my recent rescue (I rescue Australian wildlife in my spare time) We got a call last night about an Echidna who was hit by a car and who needed to be be taken to the hospital (Steve Irwin's Wildlife hospital if anyone is a fan) Anyway, this little animal was tough as nails! it decided to burrow itself into the dirt (this is how they defend themselves) It took my partner and I over an hour of digging and manoeuvring to pick her up and to take her for treatment and to be checked over by the doctors. This little creature had "clinched" itself into the ground so strongly it was like trying to lift a tree stump out of the ground!!!!! As rescuers we get to name the animal... I decided to call it Sylvie! I think It's only fitting... it's little, very strong and good at clinching LOL So, little Sylvie has now been cleared with just minor injuries, a few scratches and small damage to the spikes, so so lucky. She will be released back into the wild in the next few days!
  4. I really enjoyed Conors Doco, even though he's such a showman his story surprised and inspired me.
  5. Nice!!!!!!! esp love how the mats match the bag. You got some nice gear there! I really dig the twin gloves. That jump rope is beast mode hahah

  7. Great read! definitely a hybrid of the two! Even the way Dieselnoi wears his shorts is the same as the game character!
  8. Post your movie suggestions.. I’m going to start with Blessed with Venom, John Wayne Parr’s Documentary about his life in Thailand
  9. Share you book recommendations I’m currently reading Mike Tyson’s book, not his bestseller life story ‘Undisputed Truth’ (although awesome and recommended too) but the book ’Iron Ambition’ about his life with Cus D’amato his first trainer who basically built a world champion. https://www.amazon.com/Iron-Ambition-Lessons-Learned-Champion/dp/0751559598/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=iron+ambition&qid=1587802810&sr=8-2
  10. I’ve got 100x100 with 2cm thickness, I have lower back injury so skipping on this thickness helps
  11. Woah..... Thanks Kevin, just fascinating. This reminds me too in Thailand that only Mahuts (elephant companions) are allowed to be male. I was told this is because of female mensuration too but I wonder if it runs deeper? The strength of the elephant being a sacred animal and having no place for a woman. A bit like the Muay Thai ring. Ha Even though most elephants in captivity are female!
  12. That sucks about your foot, I remember I hurt my foot too from training Karate on wooden floor boards. If you can’t get mats at the moment, old carpet can take some of the impact too or a yoga mat but that’s a bit limiting.
  13. I have non leather but I live in a humid climate so organic materials seem to get mould of them Pretty quick here. But I’m unsure if leather is better In bags.
  14. Hey there definitely go for a 6ft because you can use it for low leg chops as well as everything else. I really like my teardrop too but that’s more for uppercuts and knees . filling- I bought mine already filled but I’ve seen people put in old clothes and rags as long as all buttons and zips have been removed
  15. I’ve only heard of Cambodia top team but I think they are also mma. I did read you can learn their traditional ancient style Bokator which apparently is older than Boran and is on the walls of Ankor Wat temple. But I’m not sure how true that all is and if the Style and teachers actually survived the genocide. Either way it would be great to train and support locals esp in Cambodia. Such a poor country
  16. Ruup isn’t Ning... how? I’m confused... I really enjoy these terminologies the Thais have But what’s the difference here. or what’s your definition of the two.. Ruup is how you hold yourself? Ning is superhero business?
  17. He really is.. his wife is great too. Both badass and both very friendly with no ego
  18. I got a few second hand ones and some online for 20bucks a sq metre, my heavy bag was more expensive. An old carpet will do the trick too if you’re on a budget
