Training in Thailand, NAK MUAY NATION

Just a little post to say I've not long got back home from spending two weeks trading with Sean Fagan, at khongsittha gym Bangkok

If, like me anyone is considering travelling to Thailand to train anywhere, DO IT!!! It's the best thing I've ever done, I put it off for years as it seemed too scary, I'm not that fit, I'm over weight, it's a lot of money blah blah blah, do it, you will not regret it!

The two hardest things were actually coming home, and trying to decide where to go next year, same gym or try a different one?

Awesome! I am so glad that you had a great time training at KST with Sean! I've been keeping an eye out of daily updates of the current training camps, it looks so much fun and nostalgic!

I'm finally going later this year. I kept

putting it off for finances, etc. but I finally went ahead and booked plane tickets. So excited!

Woohoo! :D

Honestly you will not regret it, I injured my ankle the day before I flew, so I couldn't train as much as I wanted, but I still had a great time. The people / kru's are lovely, area is safe, hotel is great, I hope I can afford to go back this year, but think it'll have to be next year

It's awesome you had such a positive experience and I LOVE that you posted here to encourage others to make a trip out, regardless of where they go. When I visited Khongsittha for the clinch seminar I offered (when Radarjam was there, so I got to meet her/you!) I could tell that everyone there was really happy with the experience, despite a few disappointments regarding getting to fight or injuries or whatever else. But it was clear that there was no "well this wasn't what I wanted" kind of response.

I would personally encourage you to check out other camps, just because the experiences are so different and there's so much of Thailand to discover that simply isn't available in one place. Even if you end up liking your first camp better, at least then you know!

Sylvie the night I arrived you were fighting in Bangkok, but unfortunately I got to the camp about 30 mins after everyone else had left ( plus I was tired and sweaty etc ) but gutted I didn't get to see you fight. Defo on my bucket list to watch you live
