  1. I've been to Watchara gym a few times for PT but haven't tried their group classes. Its more of a "casual" gym (its air conditioned (which is not a bad thing!), clientele are (mainly) non-fighters) but the trainers are knowledgeable/experienced. Honestly i've hopped around in BKK for a bit and i haven't come across objectively bad trainers - its more about finding one that has a personality/teaching style that fits you. The gym is used to foreigners (you book classes through Klook). If you do go for PTs I would recommend Em - he does focus on technique and speaks very good English. You can do privates with them on Sundays (most gyms close on Sundays). If you go gym hopping in BKK and want more training on Sunday, you could try them out for a Sunday PT session.
  2. Anyone have any recommendations for fully indoor gyms in Bangkok? Understand that these tend to be the more commercialized/fitness oriented ones. I am coming mid February and I'm not sure if I want to train outdoors with the poor air quality during this period of time. Many thanks!
  3. Do you do strength and conditioning outside your MT training? If so, are you a pro, amateur or recreational practitioner? What programs/routines do you do? Anyone used Don Heatrick's programs? Would be interested to know @Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu's routine too!
  4. Was browsing this thread and in response to Samkor's whereabouts, he is at an upscale boxing gym located in the financial district of Hong Kong, https://www.southpawhk.com/about/. The place does small group class trainings and PTs, but is quite expensive. I checked prices back in Aug 2022. They did have a buy a PT trial session, get a second session free promotion back then. However the standard list price PT sessions were around USD115 and that was from purchasing a 12 class package. As I've only started MT a year ago recreationally, I will get a bit better first before doing PTs with him! @Kevin von Duuglas-Ittu @Mick Moody
  5. Can we pin this somewhere? This is very helpful. @Kevin von Duuglas-Ittu
