The experience of this fight was unique. I received a call from Justin Blair the night before this fight, asking if I could step in last-minute because the original opponent had to pull out. I’d fought Angela before and it was a fun fight, even though I lost pretty decisively. Taking a fight on 20 hours notice seemed like an unusual and interesting opportunity and I had stated, and meant, that I wanted to fight her again.
Fighting without any preparation is a crazy experience and I’m glad I did it. I lost on unanimous decision, but took everything she had to give and it wasn’t enough to put me down.
