Hello, bbf3, 515, NewThai, Really interesting to read about everybody's experiences! Generally most of you use double lock systems for wrists I think. I think they should adapt boxing gloves for women or small people in general better for this, instead of make them pink :)

I also got them (16oz in light blue) maybe because of the bigger size but the 2nd loop is so long, always leave so "velcro" open, not great for clinching. But it secures the wrist good, yes.
(the color came off quite fast, but they are still the same, just with some white mixed with the blue)
I also got Twins 10oz with their special wrist protection closure (see picture below) and they fit also good around the wrist.

I have the Top King double wrist lock gloves (neon colors) in 10oz.
And how do you like them? did you have this problem too?

Hello,
My question is about boxing glove fitting:I train 12 onz and am @ 57 kg but I find that even with, in my opinion qualitiy gloves, like Booster, they tend to be loose around my wrists so turn easily when I block kicks f.e. Probably cause Im small maybe its something more common in females. Does anybody know a brand with tighter wrist lock or has other advice?

Cant remember where, but Kevin already predicted this could happen! "difficult but not impossible" the transition for Thai to move to MMA. Also he also said if I remember well, it was likely to be women! Im just curious what this development will bring for muay thai, mma in and outside Thailand?!

Help with ego sparring / fighting

Hi,
thank you for sharing your experiences and struggles.
I had simular experience. Girl asked me to take it easy when we started sparring. Then she hit me as hard as she could. Hit her back in the face and she asked for a break. But she wasnt fighting me, shes fighting herself.
This thing has got nothing to do with you, its her own struggle. She will knock herself out like that, mentally most. Just keep your mind and focus on yourself and what you want to learn and achieve. It will work itself out. I have to tell myself that over and over ;) its the challenge of martial arts and life itself.
Keep it up!
